Henry Louis "Hank" Aaron, the legendary baseball player and civil rights icon, has passed away at the age of 86. Aaron, who broke Babe Ruth's all-time home run record in 1974, is widely considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time.
Born into poverty in Mobile, Alabama, Aaron faced racism and discrimination throughout his career. However, he persevered and became an inspiration to millions around the world. Aaron's accomplishments on and off the field earned him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2002.
