The Boston Celtics have taken a commanding 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals after a dominant 107-89 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1 on Thursday night. Despite a poor shooting night from beyond the arc, the Celtics overwhelmed the Mavericks with their defense and rebounding.

The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Jaylen Brown added 24 points, while Marcus Smart chipped in with 20 points.
